No scratches, dents or wear to mention on the exterior.  I did replace the cards inside from the originals with standard RIMOWA card separators as the originals Velcro wore out.  One side of the case interior zippers has a broken train (it stays unzipped due to this) and can be repaired by a trailer or seamstress.  I have used this case on more than 40 trips (never on a plane) and it is in outstanding condition.  Aside from the one zipper and replacement of the separator cards with factory RIMOWA, you would be hard pressed to find a cleaner, used example.
