Soutache is said to have originated from the technique of sewing decorative flat braids (soutache cords) onto the cuffs and collars of blouses and jackets worn by European aristocracy.
It is made by combining colorful cords with cabochons and beads. The finished pieces are very light and glamorous.
While often used for accessories in flamenco and belly dance, they are also perfect for everyday wear♪ They are truly lovely.
